So, continued Sigit, in the future the detachment bearing the owl symbol will be able to adapt and develop the ability to face all forms of challenges that exist in the future. According to Sigit, the challenge that must be answered immediately is adapting to the rapid progress of information technology (IT) development. Although this is positive on the one hand, on the other hand, it can sometimes be used by terrorist groups. Therefore, Sigit said, Densus 88 Anti-terror Police must be able to synergize and cooperate with all relevant institutions in the country, religious leaders, community leaders and with other countries. According to him, this will further maximize the prevention and prosecution of all terrorist networks. “Friends must be ready to face changes. And the key is to learn to improve the abilities of colleagues, develop the organization of Densus 88, increase the capacity of personnel. And I believe history proves that colleagues are capable even though dynamics occur,” said Sigit. Where, it has an impact on increasing stability, security and public order (kamtibmas). “Of course, the stability of the Kamtibmas is the basic capital in order to increase economic growth. Because one of the investment capital is both foreign and domestic. This is looking at the parameters, one of which is how a country maintains the stability of its Kamtibmas,” said the former Banten Police Chief.
