Papuan police pr department chief pol ahmad musthofa kamal confirmed the incident.
“Right this afternoon there was a case of derailed a type of water leaflet that pk – oty was about to land on
Moenamani airport of timika air badara,” says kombes kamal when asked for his description Friday afternoon.
It was explained that the plane was about to land but was not smooth because of a very strong weather factor in the wind that caused the aircraft to lose control and finally crash into the rum way barrier.
Reports are coming in that aircraft have been jettisoned, the joint members are heading directly to the aircraft for the evacuation of both pilots and passengers on board.
“Luckily there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident. They are still evacuating the fugue and are still being examined in relation to the incident,” kamal says.
It is said that joint personnel are still on the scene to secure the site and guard the aircraft.(mid)
